Whilst the site wasn’t started with the idea of making profit, the continued testing of as many Single Board Computers and their accessories as possible does add up (and I’m running out of storage space, please send help) so anything you’d like to contribute to support the site is gratefully welcomed. Supporting me/the site is not a necessity in any way, however, and I will continue to test as much as I can whilst time and resources allow!
If you do wish to support the work that I do, then there are a few ways to do it. One of the biggest and most motivating things you could do would be to simply read and share the content that I put out. The response I received to my first piece on microSD card benchmarks is why this site has continued to grow, so the support and interest I’ve received thanks to pieces like this is truly humbling and offers more support than you’ll ever know ❤️
If you did wish to contribute financially though (beyond the basic banner advertising if you’re not using ad blockers but don’t worry, I don’t judge/blame you), there are a few ways you can do that..
Amazon Affiliate Links
Most of my pieces will contain affiliate links to the items that I’ve used or mentioned in my reviews or benchmarks. Clicking on these will take you to your local Amazon storefront and if you make a purchase, I may receive a small percentage as a commission.
Ko-Fi
The most direct option I currently offer for supporting myself/the site is Ko-Fi. This is a “buy me a coffee” style site where you can send a one-off donation, or set up a recurring donation. Times are tough at the moment for everyone so please don’t donate to me if you could make better use of that money elsewhere!
Amazon Wishlist
This wishlist is more about me keeping track of what I’d like to buy in the future but a few people have expressed interest in being able to buy certain things for me to test in the past so I made it publicly available. It has a wide range of microSD cards and other relevant technology pieces so if any of them are items you’d like to see my review of, or you just want to be a lovely person, feel free to purchase anything you see there. I’ll always give you a shout out in the relevant piece or on social media (if you’d like it to be public).
Advertising on The Website
The final option I offer is advertising space on the website and if you’re a company working in the single-board computer/technology market, this could be a great way to reach your target audience. To discuss this option, reach out to me via the contact page.
